The Importance Of Sleep Getting enough sleep is an essential part of maintaining good health and well-being. The National Sleep Foundation recommends that adults get between 7 and 9 hours of sleep per night (NSF, 2021). However, many individuals struggle to get the recommended amount of sleep, which can have serious consequences for their health.
